Sunday carvery
We visited buckets today and had a carvery with 6 adults and 2 children. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and agreed it was one of the nicest carvery’s we’ve had. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the restaurant was very clean. Very good prices too we can’t wait to visit again.
Ok food
Food ok, fabric and finish of restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Always find that the Whitbread brewers fayers not the best out of their food outlets. Cook house and pubs are the best
Perfect fish and chips
We chose here without seeing any recommendations but it turns out we might have found the best fish and chips in Cleethorpes. The fish was tasty and had some lovely crispy batter. The chips were also done to perfection (not greasy at all) and obviously all cooked in fresh oil. Service was friendly as well.
Afternoon Tea and Cocktails
Afternoon tea was excellent and extremely good value for money. The extensive list of cocktails is amazing! Special mention to barman Grant who was very attentive and catered to our every need. We will be back!
Delicious
Stopped for lunch Had a gorgeous creamy parsnip soup and a fillet steak. Husband and grandson had fish and chips which they both said was the best they had ever eaten. Service was welcoming and friendly

Our grandson who would have eaten any thing but fish and chips was so pleased with his meal said it was great coming from a teenager that is high praise indeed
Afternoon tea
Visited for afternoon tea with work colleagues. Good choice of sandwiches, wraps etc and cakes very nice too. Servers very friendly and helpful. Great place for a special afternoon tea.

What a way to finish off a cracking day in Cleethorpes! Served smashing fish and chips by our lovely server Lynne. Very kind staff all round lovely environment. Would definitely recommend!!

This is the best sunday lunch this town has to offer.. vaule for money , freshly cooked and the staff are second to none.
