Creepy crawlies to beautiful butterflies – our brainy Rangers can teach you all about them in our guided hunt for mini beasts on Safari. You can explore our parks from top to bottom, find out where the best hiding places are and discover all there is to know about a bug’s life.
Having read mixed reviews we weren’t sure what to expect but from start to finish Thorpe Park was great. The staff were all very friendly and the lifeguards genuinely seemed to enjoy the activities they were delivering with the kids, building up a great rapport with them. Pool was very clean and there were always lots of lifeguards on duty.
Bar prices for drinks were very reasonable although we didn’t eat at the restaurant.
Caravan was a 3 bedroom with heating and was quite far away from the entrance in the Golf village, but that suited us very well as it was quite and you certainly didn’t feel like you were on an enormous park- of course with it being Scottish half term rather than English half term it was relatively quiet. Site due to close in two weeks time for winter, but a full activity programme etc was still running.
Caravan was spotless and modern-really nice and landscaping around the park was lovely.
We will definitely consider another half term break at this resort..
