Such a pleasant stay
Lovely stay from start to finish. Lovely area close to the beach. Site and caravan immaculate, and its clear to see the staff are working very hard to keep things running smoothly in the current climate. All new procedures in place were flawless. Staff were always friendly and welcoming, a credit to Haven. We would definitely return
Just spent 5 days at Thorpe Park and it was very enjoyable, the Caravan was spotlessly clean, we were in a very quiet area "The Meadows" but close enough to all we needed, we've visited this park for 6 years now and we'll be back next year too, the ponds on the site has Swans, Ducks and Greylag Geese, we had a very enjoyable walk into Cleethorpes all along the front from the park it was a great shame the little train wasn't running but i'm sure it'll be back in action next time we visit.
Great weekend away
Just spent a Friday to Monday break at Thorpe Park. My first rating was going to be ‘very good’ but there is no reason to not choose ‘excellent’, so I did. We had a fab time. Check in was easy, quick and stressless. The security guard was lovely and friendly. The caravan was lovely, modern and spotless. The bar, restaurant, arcade and pool were well organised and felt safe. The park is in a great location and the grounds are kept well. Can’t fault the park at all. The only downside was the rain but it didn’t stop us enjoying our break. Thanks Haven.
We had a lovely long weekend at Haven Thorpe Park. We'd not been to Haven before and were a bit apprehensive about our Standard caravan from the other reviews, but it was really nice. We had a lovely stay and were sad to come home. Lovely clean caravan with everything we needed for a family of four. The beach local to the park is lovely, and only a short walk away. It's really clean with sand dunes and a nature reserve so lots of birds (a flock of beautiful Little Egrets landed on the beach fairly near us). Great for kids, lots of sandcastle space and the water is shallow for a long way out, and there were lifeguards keeping an eye out when the tide turned. Much nicer than the main Cleethorpes beach, which is still fine but more arcades and litter. The only downside was no toilets near the beach at all. Would have liked more footpaths around the site, as there were cars constantly moving, which with young children meant it didn't feel that safe. It's also a really long walk from the bus stop with kids if you don't drive and check-in was all in-car so not ideal for people on foot. Recommend you get a taxi with luggage if you're not driving. There is a beautiful coastal path from the site that goes right to the town. We were on a 'haven hideaway's so couldn't use the pools or entertainment but this was fine for us, they seemed very busy. Overall we'd really recommend it, the kids can't wait to go back.
