Mablethorpe is just south of the Humber estuary and Spurn Heritage Coast, it is a huge sandy beach with activities for the whole family. There are beach huts to the north of the beach and a boating lake to the south.
We’ve stayed here about five years running it’s a great place very clean and friendly staff with modern caravans and good facilities and near to beach would highly recommend it has an on-site shop and is close to a local pub and chip shop or two
Stayed here for a week, had a great time .
Kids 9 and 6 really enjoyed it. Swimming pool and outdoor slides very good and plenty to do.
Crazy golf was good and the outdoor play areas are safe and all enclosed so adults can relax that bit more and enjoy food or beers from the restaurant which was quite reasonably priced.
Would certainly return again.
We come here twice a year, absolutely love this sire, great vans and fantastic staff. Everything is always clean and well looked after, we like to be in The Orchards are its handy for the beach and the train for our little grandson. We will be back in October.
We stayed here for 4 nights in July as a family with 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 9. I can’t comment on the accommodation as we stayed in an owners caravan which was immaculate and was in a perfect location. I also thought that the owners perks enhanced the stay. The Haven park itself is clean and well maintained. The pool area was very clean as were the changing facilities. The slides were open twice a day and my kids loved going on them. It’s a great way to spend a couple of hours but I have to say that the pools at Butlins parks have more to offer. My kids did 3 activities each which they enjoyed. After one of the receptionists on the pool reception was unhelpful with booking the activities, the manager I think she was called Rebecca was very accommodating and opened another session for my kids to be able to do the kayaking which was much appreciated. Generally all of the staff that we encountered were helpful. We didn’t eat at the resort but I can recommend the Trawlerman pub down the road for a nice great value carvery and the Shanghai express for a lovely Chinese takeaway and they deliver to your caravan. The beach on the site was nice and clean and quiet but it’s worth a visit to Cleethorpes as it’s a nice seaside town with a nice beach also. The Jungle Zoo nearby is a nice way to spend a couple of hours and only cost £16 for 4 of us. Overall we all had a lovely time, there is plenty to do in the park and plenty of things within walking distance from the park. We would definitely return.
